Who won the best fish sandwiches I've ever had fish dinners includes three big pieces of fish and potato wedges very good

It says there is a drive thru but most of the time it doesn’t operate so you would have to go inside to place an order. Don’t judge the place from the outside but this place has one of the best homestyle meals I have ever tasted and eaten in the city of Louisville. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and didn’t mind telling me which one of the dishes were their faves. Would’ve gotten some of their greens but unfortunately they ran out during the time that I came so I opted for their potato salad and Mac and cheese instead with my meatloaf dinner. The sides were good and tasted pretty average but the meatloaf was very delicious and hearty and had a lot of vegetables in it. I was glad that they were very generous with their portion sizes and the cornbread that I paid extra for wasn’t too bad as well. I would suggest paying extra for the cornbread cause it was soo worth it. If only I come to this area a lot often I would’ve definitely become one of their regular customers.

The food is absolutely amazing it's like home cooking on the go they have great variety of chicken and sides. The building itself is older and smaller if I remember correctly there was no dine-in as you order at the counter and take it with you I know that's what we did but I do not remember really seeing a table the ladies that helped were very nice they were very very busy so it took a little bit to get to us answered every question were very nice and hurting! and the food when I got it was delicious so don't let the small building or the older look to it call you or don't let yourself miss out on a good thing

This restaurant serves excellent homemade food and desserts. The staff was friendly and courteous. I encourage people to try this restaurant. There are several different types of food. I had the pork tips with barbecue sauce, broccoli with cheese and rice and yams, which were tasty. It's located at 3947 Dixie Highway. Head north coming from the Watterson Expressway. We visited again March 8, 2022. The BBQ chicken was good but the vegetables were not as tasty as usual. Still, it was a good meal overall.

Anytime I go to Dixie chicken, I order fish and some type of fried vegetables, the fish and fried vegetables are made to order. I had the jack salmon sandwich and fried mushrooms with a side of broccoli casserole, everything was good, and those two big pieces of fish is considered a sandwich

Food is always fabulous!! I got 25 whole wings spicy, omg!!! Amazing!! Cooked to order so they're always hot. I love the meatloaf, so does my family, and the pork chops dinner is my personal favorite, also cooked to order... nice people, wonderful food, great prices!!
